May 22, 2014, Montreal, Que. – The organizers of Intersaw
have announced the inclusion of BiomassExpo as part of the upcoming forest
products showcase.

Coming to Montreal in September, and co-located with Canada
Woodworking East, Intersaw is the only show focused on Canada’s French and
bilingual secondary wood marketplace. The addition of BiomassExpo meets the
demands of another facet of the Canadian forest industry.

“Biomass is a thriving industry and the perfect complement
to InterSaw,” said show manager Shawn Murphy. “Thousands of potential buyers
will walk the show floor to see the latest biomass equipment available in
today’s market, including grinders, pellet mills, fibre dryers, boilers,
conveyors, silos, packaging, mill yard equipment, and more.”

“We are happy to support this joint event in Montreal
marrying the sawmilling sector with the emerging biomass industry – it’s a natural
fit,” said Scott Jamieson, group publisher, Canadian Biomass Magazine.
“Sawmillers have the fibre access as well as the energy and market
diversification needs, and the biomass sector has a role to play around both.”

Endorsed by Resolute Forest Products, as well as J.D.
Irving, Limited, the InterSaw event will be a site for networking, training and
acquiring new technology for the mill industry. Canada Woodworking East is
endorsed by the Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada –
Quebec Chapter and will be the ideal venue for secondary woodworkers to meet
face to face with manufacturers and distributors of machinery, hardware, and
accessories.

All three events will take place Friday, September 26 and
Saturday, September 27, at Montreal’s internationally renowned Olympic Stadium.
Combined, the shows are expected to attract some 250 exhibiting companies and
over 5,000 tradeshow visitors. Tradeshow badges from one show will grant
attendees admission to all events.
