Canada to match U.S. GHG target: Greenpeace

Nov. 17, 2016 - Greenpeace Canada says the Canadian government plans to follow the U.S. lead with a target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 80 per cent below 2005 levels by 2050.
Greenpeace told The Canadian Press the target was indicated by the Canadian delegation at the United Nations climate change conference in Morocco this week, although the information has not been confirmed.
