Morency joins WPAC in marketing and promotion

January 11, 2013, Quebec, QC - Pierre-Olivier Morency has been appointed as the new director of market access and promotion for the Wood Pellet Association of Canada (WPAC).
In his new role within the WPAC, Morency will continue to
promote the development of the pellet industry in Canada with the
support of Gordon Murray, executive director of the WPAC.
Since 2011, Morency has been the director of the Wood Pellet Group at
the Quebec Wood Export Bureau (QWEB) where he works on behalf of
Quebec’s pellets producers to implement measures that will promote the
growth of the wood pellet market both within and outside Quebec.
He is a forest engineer and has Bachelor of Forest Management degree
and a Master in Forest Sciences from the Université Laval. He is a
member of the Ordre des ingénieurs forestiers du Québec. He can be
