NS municipality issues tender for anaerobic digester

The municipality issued a tender for the system this month and officials hope to make a final decision based on feasibility by the end of February.

“We looked at biomass, burning wood, and it wasn’t feasible. We have organics. Every municipality has organics. We need to find solutions for processing it,” Tammy Wilson, the municipality’s chief administrative officer, told the Chronicle Herald.
