PES to provide sludge-to-energy system

November 2, 2015 - PES has been awarded a contract to engineer, supply, and provide technical support for the installation, commissioning and startup of a second paper mill sludge to energy system for Atlantic Packaging in Toronto.
PES is supplying a complete sludge-to-energy system including a PES fluidized bed, steam generator and the balance of plant equipment.
Atlantic Packaging, which owns and operates three paper facilities in the greater Toronto area, was seeking to reduce tipping fees, transportation and natural gas costs by the use of recycle paper mill sludge.
PES offers a full range of services in the areas of combustion and gasification. Having expertise in the use of solid biofuels and liquid gasses including difficult to convert sources such as sludge and process waste fuels.
