Regulator has no authority to pre-approve NSPower biomass proposal

Aug. 24, 2009, Halifax – Nova Scotia Power’s ability to meet renewable energy targets was thrown in question Wednesday after the province’s regulator rejected its request to approve a proposal that would see the utility burn waste wood to create electricity.
