Oct. 23, 2009, Abilene, TX – Advanced Trailer is now involved in a third project to test
its biomass-drying technology. The company has provided an Advanced Drying
Trailer and dryer to Integro Earth Fuels for use at their pilot torrefaction
plant in Grambling, South Carolina. The project will test the trailer’s use to remove
moisture from biomass that is to be torrefied.

The first two projects, also begun in 2009, involved research grants to the University of Idaho and
Iowa State University to test the Advanced Drying Trailer. Advanced Trailer is
best known for its semi-trailers that are used to remove moisture from various
agricultural crops such as peanuts, almonds, and grass seed. Advanced Trailer is
now exploring the use of its technology to remove moisture from woody biomass.
