Nexterra expands to United States

2010, Vancouver – Nexterra Systems Corp. is expanding its operations into the
United States. It has appointed a new sales leadership team and opened offices
in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Atlanta, Georgia. These steps are part of a
company-wide expansion to support growing demand for Nexterra’s biomass
gasification heat and power solutions in North America.

The new
sales leadership team will be led by three regional vice-presidents of sales.
Scott Layne is the new regional vice-president of sales for the U.S. North
region, based in Philadelphia. Larry Bridger is the new regional vice-president
of sales for the U.S. South region, based in Atlanta. Carl Dunaway, who has
been with Nexterra since 2007, is now regional vice-president of sales for the
U.S. West and Canada regions, based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Phil Beaty,
a co-founder of Nexterra, will continue to play an important role as vice-president
of sales engineering, providing technical and engineering support to the
regional sales teams.

announcement signals our commitment to building a strong foundation in these
markets in order to better serve customers and partners,” says Jonathan Rhone,
Nexterra’s president and CEO.
