Ontario Ethanol Growth Fund set to expire

Oct. 28, 2016 - The Ontario Ethanol Growth Fund established in 2005 to encourage ethanol companies to set up shop in Ontario is set to expire by the end of the year.

The $520 million fund led to the launch of seven plants that produce more than 1.1 billion litres of ethanol a year.

According to an article by The London Free Press, Ontario Agriculture Ministry has no plans to renew the fund.
