Ontario man creates biofuel cooking equipment

Jan. 4, 2017 - An inventor in London, Ont., has created a cooking burner that runs on biofuels and costs less than an electric alternative.

Michael George says his prototype burner operates similar to natural gas or propane stoves, but use biofuels such as ethanol. The system can be scaled up from a table-top cooker to industrial units, he says.

The entrepreneur’s company, GF Micro Group hopes to develop and market the technology.
