Op-ed: Biofuel program too expensive

Oct. 24, 2016 - Canada's biofuels policy, while modestly successful in improving the environment, achieves its outcome at too high a cost, according to members of Canada’s Ecofiscal Commission.

Mel Cappe, Glen Hodgson and Christopher Ragan wrote an op-ed in the Ottawa Citizen yesterday that claims federal and provincial biofuel policies are too expensive relative to the resulting reduction of emissions.
