
Ottawa to invest in renewable fuel projects for remote communities

Feb. 10, 2017 - The federal government is planning to spend $50 million to help remote, mostly Indigenous communities build renewable fuel projects and end their dependence on diesel fuel.
CBC is reporting that the upcoming federal budget has earmarked these funds for projects that produce hydro, solar, wind or biomass energy.
