Pinnacle builds sixth pellet plant

Sept. 17, 2010, Burns Lake, BC – Pinnacle Pellet is beginning construction on its sixth wood pellet plant in British Columbia.

2010, Burns Lake, BC – Pinnacle Pellet is beginning construction on its sixth
wood pellet plant in British Columbia. This newest plant will be located about
27 km southeast of Burns Lake and has a planned production capacity of 400,000
tonnes/year. The plant will use residue from local sources and wood feedstock
from the Hampton Affiliates Babine Forest Product mill located approximately
3.5 km away.

The
company has selected Cogent Industrial Technologies Ltd. to provide integrated
automation, controls, and information management system services for the pellet
plant. Cogent has worked closely with Pinnacle Pellet in the past to define and
design process control, information technology, and automation systems for the
company’s five existing pellet production plants.
