Program set for upcoming CanBio conference

September 18, 2013, Ottawa, ON – The program has been set
for the upcoming CanBio conference and trade show, Creating Business in the Bio-economy, coming to Gatineau, Quebec
on October 7-9.
The conference will feature a series of technical and panel
presentations that will cover a wide range of important issues involved in the
Canadian bioeconomy. The opening presentation will feature an executive panel
on the future of the bioeconomy that will include representatives from CanBio,
CRFA, FPAC and CRIBIQ. The conference will also feature presentations that will
discuss:
- Financing
- New Developments
- Community Energy Systems
- Investments in Forest Innovations
- Environment and Safety Issues
- Sustainability
- Federal Government Support
- Commercializing Green Chemistry
- Bioenergy in Forestry and Agriculture
The three-day event begins with the pre-conference course
and CanBio AGM on October 7th and continues with two full days of
conference sessions on the 8th and 9th. There are also a
series of networking opportunities, receptions, and industry award
presentations throughout the conference.
