Terex Woodsman launches two new trommels

Mar. 2, 2012 – Terex Woodsman has launched two new products, the new Terex Woodsman 810 Trommel and Terex Woodsman 830 Trommel as part of its continuing dynamic product development program.

“The Terex Woodsman 810 and Terex Woodsman 830 builds on and complements our current brush chipper and biomass product range. This represents the next step in the evolution of our dynamic product development program. With these additional products we are firmly setting ourselves to meet the needs of not only our existing customers but new customers as well” said Barry DeLau, Global Sales and Marketing Director.

The Terex Woodsman 810 is a mid-sized 2 way split trommel screen designed for quick set up time for high throughput. Key features include a large screen area, 4 wheel friction drum drive system, load sensing kick-out control system on the feeder conveyor and hydraulic folding onboard conveyors. With low maintenance and ease of operation the Woodsman 810 has been designed to work in a variety of applications; wood chips, top soil, compost and recycling.

The Terex Woodsman 830 is the largest model within the Terex Woodsman trommel range. Key features include the largest screen area within the trommel range, a low maintenance four wheel drive friction drum drive system, proportional load sensing on the feeder conveyor helps to eliminate blockages and downtime, and hydraulic folding conveyors. The Woodsman 830 has been designed to work in variety of applications; wood chips, top soil, compost and recycling.

The Woodsman 810 and 830 Trommel will be available from March 2012.
