Renewable natural gas fast becoming a key fuel source

Green energy is going mainstream, but getting there has been a long journey, says the head of Sustainable Investing and BioEconomy Research.

“It has been a combination of technological advancements, the value of carbon reduction, government mandates, and, importantly, consumer and corporate choices,” Shawn Severson told Proactive.

According to UBS, green energy accounts for about half the total global investment in the entire energy sector in 2020.
