Sept. 15, 2011 – The KB E&I Co.
(Beaver) drum sawdust machine is a new technology for producing sawdust using
one machine. It produces high-quality sawdust from sawmill residue, wood waste,
roundwood, and other scrap wood (both hardwood and softwood). The homogeneous,
powdered product can be used in subsequent processing such as pelletizing or
briquetting and is produced in just one step without using additional chippers,
hammermills, or grinders.

Features include:

  • Sturdy design—the sawdust machine is based
    on a proven solid steel welded laser-cut structure that can handle high loads;
  • Four sides compression method by hydraulic
    power;
  • Optimum output;
  • Low maintenance cost;
  • Low noise (approximately 85 decibels);
  • Conveyor belts for feedstock input and
    sawdust output;
  • Easy-to-use control system;
  • Long life saw tooth and safety blade
    adjustment;
  • Easy and fast spare part knife repairing.

The machine comes in a range of sawdust production
capacities: Beaver 600 at 60 m3/h, Beaver 500 at 50 m3/h, Beaver 400 at 40
m3/h, Beaver 350 at 30 m3/h, and Beaver 300 at 25 m3/h.
