wpacFebruary 11, 2014, Vancouver - Mark November 17 to 19 on your calendars. The Wood Pellet Association of Canada has chosen those dates for a repeat performance of its hugely successful AGM and conference.

February 11, 2014  By Scott Jamieson

The first annual event was held in Vancouver last November, and drew more than 300 total attendees over the three days of activities. Events included a UBC Pellet Workshop , WPAC annual meeting, tours, export market breakfast, two days of conference with speakers from around the world, sold-out mini exhibition, and standing room only social gatherings each evening. WPAC executive director Gord Murray tells Canadian Biomass that the organizing committee is already looking at 2014's format.

"We'll be back in downtown Vancouver – people like to visit there, and it's an easier connection for international travelers than other venues we've looked at. The day and a half conference format works well, and we can get a lot of top tier speakers into that space. We'll have more information by early spring."

Anyone interested in speaking at the event should contact Gord Murray. Organizers will be contacting 2013 sponsors and exhibitors soon to reserve their space again. Other exhibitors or potential sponsors wishing to be put on a waiting list should contact Ross Anderson.
