Scandinavian Airlines to increase its sustainable aviation fuel purchases

Scandinavian Airlines Systems (SAS) has increased its obligation to purchase sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) by another five million gallons annually.
Gevo Inc. will supply SAS with its fuel, starting in 2024. The agreement between Gevo and SAS is about $100 million over its term.
“This amendment is evidence of the strong and growing demand for Gevo’s renewable hydrocarbon products,” Gevo CEO Patrick Gruber said in a statement published by Proactive Investors.
