Speakers announced for Advanced Biofuels Symposium

April 29, 2014, Montreal, Que. – BioFuelNet Canada has confirmed details for its keynote speakers for the upcoming Advanced Biofuels Symposium in Ottawa.

April 29, 2014, Montreal, Que. – BioFuelNet Canada has
confirmed details for its keynote speakers for the upcoming Advanced Biofuels
Symposium in Ottawa.

 

Three keynote speakers will be part of the Symposium, taking
place at the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre May 27-29:

  • Elizabeth May, leader of the Green Party of
    Canada, Member of Parliament and Officer of the Order of Canada, will deliver
    her keynote speech on the 28th of May, after which she will join a panel
    discussing sustainable biofuels.
  • Professor Martin Tangney will be joining us all
    the way from Scotland for a keynote speech on the 29th of May.  He is the Director of the Biofuel Research
    Centre at Edinburgh Napier University and Founder/CSO of Celtic Renewables Ltd.
  • Award winning film director and energy pioneer,
    Josh Tickell, will also be keynote speaker on the morning of May 29th. He
    directed the documentary film, “Fuel”, which won the Best Documentary Award at
    the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.
