STH Biomass, Stuwix sign historic agreement

April 28, 2016 – A historic Forest Management Agreement in British Columbia will bring together a new partnership that will strengthen the local forest industry in the region.
According to an article from the Lillooet News, the new agreement between Stuwix Resources Ltd. and STH Biomass LP marks the first time that the Nlaka’pamux, Sylix and St’at’imc Nations have joined together to address a local challenge.
The agreement, signed April 20th in T’it’q’et, will allow Stuwix to assist STH in managing its forest licenses. The cooperation will provide sustainable management of the lands in the Merritt and Lillooet Timber Supply Areas while adhering to traditional Aboriginal values.
