Syngenta corn includes biofuel enzyme

Feb. 2, 2015 – Seed giant Syngenta has produced a hybrid corn that has an enzyme required to produce ethanol within the kernel, StarTribune reports.

Six ethanol plants in the U.S. are already using the hybrid corn engineered to produce biofuel. The biofuel crop is called Enogen.
