terexw1July 26, 2012, Farwell, MI – Terex® Woodsman will be exhibiting two of their popular brush chipper products, the Woodsman 730 and Woodsman 750 on booth 1179 at the ISA Show in Portland, Oregan, August to 11-15.

Commenting on the forthcoming line up at the ISA Show, Barry DeLau II, Terex Woodsman Global Sales & Marketing Director, said, “We are delighted to be able to exhibit our 730 and 750 brush chippers at the ISA Show. This gives us a great opportunity to discuss not only these two products, but the other seven products that form the nine products in the Terex Woodsman brush chipper range. We look forward to meeting with customers at the show and discussing the benefits of our entire product portfolio to help them deliver all their wood processing needs.”

Woodsman 730 Brush Chipper

The Woodsman Model 730 is a compact, drum-style brush chipper. The 18" wide by 15" high infeed opening allows material with multiple limbs and branches to be processed with less trimming. The drum is 24" diameter by 18" wide and offers two full knife pockets with two knives per pocket. This design produces a smaller, more consistent chip, which effectively helps to compact the material in your trailer.

The 730 model weighs approximately 5,200 lbs, which makes it easy to tow and an excellent unit for brush crews in commercial and municipal applications. The simple design makes the machine extremely easy to operate, and combined with the advantage of being small, also makes the 730 a great unit for landscapes and rental industries.

Woodsman 750 Brush Chipper

The Woodsman 750 is an excellent mid-size chipper. The 37” diameter by 24” wide chipping drum allows the Woodsman 750 to fill a niche created specifically by tree care professionals and municipal agencies, which need to chip larger material. Numerous features such as a reverse auto feed, feed wheel lift cylinders, height adjustable discharge chute and many others make the Woodsman 750 a very versatile chipper for your fleet.

The dual hydraulic drive motors operate the feed wheel and eliminate the need for various bearings, bushings, chains and sprockets. This is a great way to save on repair time and costs over the duration of the machine’s life. High production and low maintenance are what you can expect from Terex Woodsman. In addition to less maintenance, the Woodsman 750 operates simply and easily with a large chipper opening, which drastically reduces chainsaw work.
