Hoffman acquires Air-O-Flex truck dumpers

2010, Muscatine, IA – Hoffmann Inc., an industrial construction, steel
fabrication, and material handling systems company, has acquired Air-O-Flex
Equipment Co. of Roseville, Minnesota. Air-O-Flex Equipment has been supplying
hydraulic truck dumpers in the United States and abroad since 1947.

Air-O-Flex
truck dumpers and hydraulic cylinders will be manufactured by Hoffmann at its
Iowa facility, which specializes in the fabrication of large industrial components
and equipment. “Air-O-Flex truck dumpers are a good fit with Hoffmann’s steel
fabrication capabilities and our commitment to quality because they are known
for their high performance, low maintenance, and robust cylinder design,” says
Larry Emmert, president of Hoffmann.

Hoffmann
will continue building Air-O-Flex’s proven models of hydraulic dumpers,
including drive-thru, extended arm, over-the-wall, semi-portable trailer and
rail car dumpers. Manufacturing under the name Airoflex Equipment, Hoffman will
continue offering reliable hydraulic truck dumpers for biomass, refuse-derived
fuel, wood waste, seed corn, peanuts, sugar cane, and other products. Airoflex
Equipment will also continue providing receiving hoppers and replacement and
refurbishment of telescoping cylinders, hydraulic power units, and safety legs.
