Oct 31, 2011, Portage du Fort, QC - Trebio has become the first wood pellet mill outside Europe to earn ENPlus certification, bagging number CAN001.

Trebio CEO Louis Campeau notes that the company "is very pleased to achieve
this accolade from the European Pellet Council. After a tough year
bringing the mill to life and on budget this adds further to the
Trebio focus of quality, reliability and being customer centric in the
wood pellet industry”.

The demand for ENPlus pellets in Europe is steadily growing and the
need to not only manufacture good pellets but to make sure that they are
delivered to the customers doorstep in the very best condition, is
paramount to get the very best from your biomass boiler or stove.

Campeau went on to say that "our wood pellets are manufactured from
fibre straight out of the forest, using sources strictly regulated by
the tough Canadian forest management systems. In this way, we make wood
pellets from the right mix of species to create great wood pellets every

Peter Rechberger, general manager of the European Pellet Council, is pleased to have this first Canadian ENPlus supplier. "Congratulations to Trebio on its new ENPlus certification, the
EPC is very proud that Trebio will become the first overseas ENPlus
