August 14th, 2013, Saint-Michel, Que. - In the heart of Saint-Michel, Biothermica owns and operates Gazmont, the second largest landfill gas power plant in Canada.

August 14th, 2013, Saint-Michel, Que. – In the heart of Saint-Michel, Biothermica owns and operates Gazmont, the
second largest landfill gas power plant in Canada. The City of Montreal
captures and transports the biogas to Gazmont, where it is burned to
create electricity, thereby also destroying the greenhouse gases that
would have been released. The technology also generates thermal energy
(heat), supporting a hot water system that heats the TOHU building
located nearby.
