UNBC researchers to study bioenergy potential

Sept. 7, 2016 - A team of researchers from the University of Northern British Columbia are studying, among other things, the bioenergy potential of underutilized land in Northern B.C.

The Bioenergy and Cash Crop Feasibility Study, which received $83,500 in funding from the provincial and federal governments, will begin later this month. The overall goal of the project is to broaden agricultural diversity in the region.
