Rene Landry, Shaw Resources and Vice President of WPAC, is the Director of Wood Pellet Operations with Shaw Resources, a company that operates two pellet plants in Atlantic Canada. In this role he provides oversight and strategic direction in all areas of safety, environment, human resources, financial management, capital planning, fibre procurement, production, inventory control, preventative maintenance, quality control and forest sustainability. He is also responsible for relationships with key stakeholders such as fibre suppliers, port services, customers and government. He has served on the board of WPAC for the past seven years, helping to guide the organization’s strategic direction.
