Getting to Net Zero in Canada with Pellets

ON DEMAND
Speaker: Dr. Jamie Stephen, TorchLight Bioresources Inc.

Canada has joined over 120 countries in committing to be net-zero emissions by 2050. A number of provinces and cities have already made similar commitments, and most recently the Province of Ontario put forward a draft Forest Biomass Action Plan to support economic development by enhancing the use of under-utilized forest resources including mill by-products and under-utilized forest biofibre. Despite these progressive initiatives, there remain challenges and opportunities for biomass in Canada. Join leading Canadian experts to hear how pellets can and should have an important role in the transition to Net Zero in Canada.
