Fink Machine is Canada’s leading supplier of wood chip and wood pellet heating systems for commercial, institutional, district energy and small industrial heating needs. Fink Machine has over 130 installations across Canada from BC to PEI as well as the NWT and Yukon. Fink Machine is a leader based on their ability to design and build quality hot water systems ranging in size from 150 kW (500,000 BTU/hr) to 6 MW (20,000,000 BTU/hr). Fink Machine distributes Viessmann and Schmid biomass boilers. At Fink Machine we have built our business on service both during construction and operation. Our boilers come with remote monitoring capabilities that allow us to work with your operations team to ensure maximum uptime. This includes helping to regularly optimize boiler operation, support preventative maintenance by identifying potential maintenance issues before they become a problem as well as assist in troubleshooting when there is an issue.

Fink Machine pioneered ‘plug and play’ pre-fabricated boiler systems in either a shipping container or a custom manufactured pre-fabricated building manufactured at our own in-house facility. Our Containerized systems have been deployed across Canada including over two dozen in the NWT alone. In order to be able to do this Fink Machine has a dedicated team including designers, fabricators, drafts people, and engineers to ensure your project meets your needs. Each system comes with in-depth operator training including in class and practical hands on. Fink Machine understands that having well trained operations staff is critical to the success of our projects.

How many suppliers can say the practice what the preach? Fink Machine owns and operates its own wood chip district heating system at our shop in Enderby BC. This system was one of the first and most successful small-scale district heating system in Canada. The 540 kW boiler is used to supply heat to 12 clients using 1.6 km network of pipes.

We provide support based on our own experience operating our own boiler and not by looking up a manual. Our technical support is based in Canada and follows North American business hours, without the need for translation.
