Washington biomass proposal scrapped

Nov. 25, 2011, Vancouver, WA – It appears that after weeks of discussion
with the locals, the biomass plant proposal set forth by
Schneider Electric and Clarke County has been officially blocked.

Residents claimed that the plant would not fit the design of the buildings in the area, and while Schneider Electric and Clarke County disputed this, the 5MW forestry waste project ceased to become financially viable.
