Waste to energy workshop coming to Athabasca

June 11, 2014, Athabasca, Alta. – The Alberta Wood Waste Recycling Association (AWWRA), in conjunction with the Government of Alberta’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, are inviting the province’s biomass industry to participate in a full-day workshop on creating energy from wood waste and biomass waste.

June 11, 2014, Athabasca, Alta. – The Alberta Wood Waste
Recycling Association (AWWRA), in conjunction with the Government of Alberta’s
Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, are inviting the province’s
biomass industry to participate in a full-day workshop on creating energy from
wood waste and biomass waste.

 

Being held July 11th in Athabasca, the workshop
will discuss take a look at how to create a successful wood waste recycling
program, and being able to reuse both wood waste and biomass waste materials
through various reuse programs.

Organizers hope that the day will provide a realistic look
at the wood waste and biomass waste industry and to identify the business
opportunities and constraints for recycling wood waste and biomass waste
generated in the province.
