Potential wood pellet demand in Japan and South Korea has been the focus of many forecasts. For demand to materialize and support stable supply, the price for wood pellets needs to be high enough and have sufficient tenor to support investments into new production capacity.

A new white paper from FutureMetrics looks into whether and how Japanese and South Korean policies support power producers’ ability to pay for pellet fuel under sustainable and equitable long-term off-take agreements.

The white paper can be downloaded from the FutureMetrics website under the “free white papers” section of the home page, at www.futuremetrics.com.
