Wood fibre costs for global industry fell in Q2
Wood fibre cost, which is by far the largest cost component when manufacturing wood pulp, declined for many pulp producers worldwide in the second quarter of 2010.

Sept. 7, 2010 – Wood fibre cost, which is by far the largest cost component when
manufacturing wood pulp, declined for many pulp producers worldwide in
the second quarter of 2010.

Hardwood fibre prices (in US dollar terms) fell in the US, Australia, and most countries in Europe. Softwood fibre prices fell the most in the U.S., Eastern Canada, Germany,
Spain and the Nordic countries, while prices were higher Quarterover-Quarter in Western Canada, Russia and New Zealand. | READ MORE
