Mar. 8, 2012 - World Bioenergy 2012 has released information on both its pre- and post conference tours.

Mar. 8, 2012 – World Bioenergy 2012 has released information on both its pre- and post conference tours.

A pre-conference tour on Monday 28 May is a very convenient and cost-
and time-effecitve travel option from airports in Stockholm and
Copenhagen to Elmia in Jönköping. The tours depart at 09.00 a.m. and can take you back to the airport Friday 1 June.

Stockholm Arlanda International Airport – Jönköping, Elmia 

Tour 1. Bioenergy in agriculture

Combined heat and power plant, short rotation coppice production,
small scale biodiesel production, biogas plant using municipal residues,
food waste and ley crops and a green house using biomass for heating

Tour 2. Biofuels for transport

Ethanol plant, handling of solid biomass at a large scale combined
heat and power plant, small-scale biodiesel production and a biogas
upgrading plant.

Stockholm Cityterminal/Stockholm Skavsta Airport – Jönköping, Elmia

Tour 3. Solid biomass and trade

CHP plant handling solid biomass, pellets production, small-scale briquette production and a new market place for biofuel.

Copenhagen Kastrup Airport – Jönköping, Elmia

Tour 4. Solid biomass

Cleantech, CHP, combined heat and power using wood fuels and large pellets factory at saw mill.

Tour 5. Waste and biogas

Waste CHP, biogas production from household, industry and agriculture waste.
