October 15, 2013, Vancouver - The final agenda has been set for the Wood Pellet Association of Canada AGM and conference, slated next month in downtown Vancouver.
Held from November 18-20 at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Hotel, the conference features six full sessions, over 20 exhibits, tours, social schedule, and a full day pellet workshop on Monday, November 18th. The WPAC conference starts Monday night at 6:00 pm with a reception.
The six sessions feature expert speakers from around the world, and deal with the following topics:
- Wood pellet production update
- Sustainability in a Canadian context
- Fibre sourcing and technology
- Transport and logistics
- Export market developments
- Domestic market development
Details and speaker information can be found here.
The block of rooms at the Marriott Pinnacle for $139/night expires this Thursday, October 18, so Canadian Biomass recommends that you book today. This is a great rate for a downtown Vancouver hotel.
For those interested in exhibiting there are three booths left, which will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Contact Ross Anderson for details on exhibit or sponsor opportunities.
