U.S. biodiesel executives plead guilty to fraud

Oct. 13, 2016 - The co-owners of U.S. biodiesel company Triton Energy LLC pleaded guilty to defrauding the U.S. government’s renewable fuel support program and a tax credit program in an Indiana court this week.

The U.S. Department of Justice said Wednesday Witmer and Jury owe more than USD$64 million for wire fraud and conspiracy relating to fraudulent biofuels credits.
