AV Nackawic chooses Fuji King Debarker

May 11, 2012, Surrey, BC - Carmanah Design and Manufacturing Inc. have supplied a Fuji King Debarker to the AV Nackawic Inc. Pulp mill located in Nackawic, NB.

May 11, 2012, Surrey, BC – Carmanah Design and Manufacturing Inc. have supplied a Fuji King Debarker to the AV Nackawic Inc. Pulp mill located in Nackawic, NB.

The Fuji King Debarker, a single KD6/120DT, replaced a pair of rotary style Debarkers. The change has resulted in higher capacity, improved bark removal, increased fibre yield and greatly reduced maintenance and downtime. Start-up was October 2011.

CARMANAH has a license agreement with the Fuji Kogyo Company of Japan to manufacture and sell the Fuji King Rotary Debarker. The product has done extremely well with sales of over 200 units globally.
