2013 CanBio Annual Conference and Trade Show

June 13, 2013 – The theme of this year's CanBio Annual Conference and Trade Show is, "Creating Business in the Bioeconomy", and will emphasize Canada's opportunities in many different biotechnologies like, community heat, bio-power, and bio-fuels.

This event will be an opportunity to network with key
industry, non-profit, and public sector stakeholders from North America, Europe
and Asia.

Conference presentations and panel discussions will include:

  • Sustainability issues in forest and agriculture biomass
    supply.
  • The significance, importance and mechanisms for obtaining
    capital.
  • The importance of beneficiated fuels (pelletized, torrified)
    markets.
  • The latest bioenergy and bioeconomy developments.

The CanBio AGM will be held at the Château Cartier,
Gatineau, Que. (across the river from Ottawa) on October 7 to 9, 2013.

It will include the AGM, the conference and networking
opportunities, industry award presentations, social activities and a trade
show.
