is looking at options for third party management and operation of its biomass
facility.

According to a report in the Guysborough Journal, the search
for managers and operators for the biomass facility in Point Tupper is part of
NSP’s overall business plan. NSP has identified the need to find cost savings
across its entire operation, and this is one of the solutions it has explored.

“It is part of a broader effort that has been going on in the company to identify cost savings across the business. This is not the only facility that we are assessing for more cost effective options," says Meera Ritcey, a spokesperson for NSP.
