Ontario offers working groups on wood heating

July 25, 2014, North Bay, Ont. - The Ontario Ministry of Environment is working in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry and Confederation College’s OPG BioEnergy Learning and Research Centre, on a Wood Heating Systems <3MW – Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) Interim Guidance Sub-Project.

July 25, 2014, North Bay, Ont. – The Ontario Ministry of
Environment is working in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Natural
Resources and Forestry and Confederation College’s OPG BioEnergy Learning and
Research Centre, on a Wood Heating Systems <3MW – Environmental Compliance
Approval (ECA) Interim Guidance Sub-Project.

 

They are currently in the process of forming two working
groups to support this guideline development – a Stakeholder Group, and a Technical
Specialist Group.

Applications are now being accepted for anyone interested in
becoming a part of either one of the groups. Specific information on how both
of these groups will be operated can be obtained through this link .
