Drax stops biomass sourcing in Russia in response to invasion of Ukraine

In an open letter published March 3, 2022, Will Gardiner, CEO of Drax Group, condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine and announced that the company has cased the supply of biomass from Russia.

The company sources less than one per cent of its biomass from Russia.

Gardiner also said Drax is working with its suppliers and customers to identify any additional links to Russia.
