May 27, 2013, the Netherlands - Dutch companies, ECN and Royal Dahlman, have signed a license agreement enabling ECN to use Royal Dahlman's MILENA gasification technology in its projects around the world.

Milena technology produces
green gas, electricity or fluid fuels from waste and biomass. With Milena gasification,
various kinds of waste and biomass are converted into high-energy gas.

The gas Milena produces can
be converted to – electricity through combined heat and power stations or gas turbines,
bio diesel and other transportation fuels or into biogas for the grid – the
companies say that Milena can help solve both waste and energy problems.
