Ecostrat hires experienced agri-trading manager Travis Taylor

Ecostrat Inc. announced the addition of Travis Taylor as project director in their Biomass Advisory Group.

Taylor brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in market operations and global freight management to his role at Ecostrat. With a notable background in successfully managing trading desks across diverse commodities such as plastics, precious metals, agriculture, and lumber, Taylor’s recent experience as the trading manager for the Canadian division at Maersk has honed his skills in overseeing physical trading desks, developing effective trading strategies, and seamlessly coordinating execution, logistics, and documentation. His contributions have directly resulted in revenue growth of $75 million in the first two years of the company’s expansion into new markets.

Taylor’s expertise extends beyond North America, as he has spoken at global commodities events and led commodity origination projects in Canada, Denmark, Switzerland, Belgium, Indonesia, and Madagascar. His recent research publication on the legal incentives of AT1 hybrid bonds in European capital markets showcases his holistic understanding of global market dynamics and the legal landscape in which they operate.
