CBA confirms agenda, tours for Value of Biogas West conference

Nov. 9, 2018 - The Canadian Biogas Association is excited to announce that the agenda and tours are now confirmed for Value of Biogas West taking place in Vancouver Jan. 15-16.

Western Canada’s largest biogas/Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Conference, the 2019 Value of Biogas West Conference will begin with a half-day Biogas Operator’s Forum. Hear first-hand what it is like to operate a biogas plant from actual biogas plant owners. In the afternoon attendees will have the opportunity to visit the Surrey Biofuel Facility in Surrey, or Fraser Valley Biogas in Abbotsford. The day will conclude with a Networking Reception.

The second day will consist of a full program, including sessions on biogas/RNG challenges and opportunities, innovations and developments, case studies, research and development, digestate management and more. 2019 Value of Biogas West is anticipated to attract more than 200 attendees from government, industry, agriculture, waste management, utilities, academics, etc.

Conference registration includes daily breakfasts, hot lunches, coffee breaks and the Networking Reception. Canadian Biogas Association (CBA) members benefit from a 25-33 per cent discount on registration. Biogas/RNG Tour registration includes bus transportation to/from the biogas/RNG facility and light refreshments.
