Environmentalist says Canadians need clear path on how to reach net zero

An environmentalist who has worked on the development of renewable energies says most Canadians are aware that excessive carbon emissions are damaging to the environment and that net zero must be achieved.

Yet few are fully aware of what exactly needs to be done, says Bill Eggertson.

Writing in the Ottawa Citizen, he said the path to a net zero future means Canadians must understand the magnitude of the challenge on both a macro and micro level.
