
Feds adjust carbon tax plan to reduce impact on coal plants

Nov. 1, 2018 - The federal government is proposing a change to its carbon tax plan that would reduce the pollution fines on coal-burning power stations.
According to a CBC News report, the changes go against Ottawa’s previous claims that major carbon emitters like coal power plants would pay the most under the carbon tax scheme.
