
Kamloops stops short of lifting biomass boiler ban

May 10, 2017 - Kamloops city councillors have voted down a motion that would have lifted a decade-old ban on biomass boilers in the city, aligning with new provincial regulations.
Four of six councillors voted to keep the ban, some of whom told Kamloops This Week that they were concerned the new provincial regulations were not well understood.
