New supersonic jets to be powered with sustainable, zero emissions jet fuel
June 7, 2021 By Canadian Biomass Magazine
New ultra-fast jets that are capable of flying between New York and London in just over three hours, are expected to be fueled by a sustainable jet fuel.
Tom Rand, managing partner at ArcTern Ventures, said the aviation industry presents a significant opportunity toward a greener future.
The jets have yet to be built, but a deal has been struck between Boom Supersonic and United Airlines with the latter to sell an initial order of 15 of the aircraft.
