BC community questions value of biomass boiler

Oct. 19, 2017 - A community in B.C. is encountering problems with a biomass boiler that was installed in 2013, causing some to question the value of the project.

According to Interior News, a wood boiler in Telkwa that is used to heat the village office, Telkwa Elementary School, the Telkwa Pub and a couple of nearby houses has experienced several problems that have delayed its usual fall startup.
